CULINARY CRAFTSMANSHIP AT ITS BEST

Zurich's Stadtkäserei not only has an exceptional production location, right next to platform 18 of the main railway station, but the team is also more than happy to experiment and try out new things. The traditional craft of cheesemaking meets urban creativity, all right in the middle of a restaurant.

STADTKÄSEREI DAIRY AND RESTAURANT

All cheese or what? We produce hard cheese, soft cheese, cream cheese, and other dairy products from the organic milk sourced from three farms in and around Zurich, namely: Waidhof in Seebach, Leimbihof in Leimbach, and Burgers Hof in Rudolfstetten-Friedlisberg.

And it goes without saying that the dairy products on our menu are produced by us. But that's not all: We use the "by-product" whey for ricotta, syrup, salad dressings, and much more...

EVENTS AND WORKSHOPS

Whether business or pleasure, an event or social programme, food or drink – we have plenty of room for up to 200 people. Our cheese and cooking workshops, as well as the bar workshop, were created by professionals who know their craft. But you’re also welcome to come and just enjoy a cosy meal at the long table, or organise a party. At the end of the day, we all know that making and discovering things together brings us closer together – and this is what makes our Stadtkäserei experience so unique.
